With a classic ball room and enchanting, crystal chandeliers, beautiful gardens with lush foliage and a sleek, contemporary Conservatory overlooking the bay, the Museum of Fine Arts will make your event a truly unforgettable experience.
Marly Room and gardens, Conservatory and terrace, and the Bayview Room are all available to host one of your wonderful events.
Cost: All rental fees are subject to a 7% state sales tax. *Please note: a 50% deposit is due at booking. Balance is due 60 days before the event. Total amount is due at booking for events occurring under 60 days.
Fees Include:
a. Adequate security for event
b. 20 60” rounds and 200 chairs for any venue
c. 10 eight foot rectangle tables
d. 4 six foot rectangle tables
e. Limited audio/visual support (Marly Room only)
f. Galleries in the wing that the event is being held
Maximum time for an event is 4 hours. Caterers, musicians, florists, etc. may arrive three hours prior to the event, but MUST be out by midnight.**Please note that the Museum of Fine Arts is open to the public until 5:00pm, Tuesday-Sunday.
Events the Museum will not book:
a. Revenue generating events
b. Fundraising events (Museum fundraisers only)
c. Political events
Caterers and other vendors: Food and Beverage Caterers must be selected from the Museum’s preferred Caterer’s List. (Experience has shown that these caterers are very reliable, will provide top quality of food and service, and adhere to the Museum’s policies) List provided upon request.
Insurance: Client must provide a “Certificate of Liability Insurance” for a minimum of one million dollars. These certificates are usually filled out on an ACORD form 25-S.
